The Snow Bound Halloween

In my town, 6 inches of snow fell on Halloween. The city was covered in a blanket of snow on a day when the average day time high is 57 degrees. I live in northern Illinois, and this was only the fourth time in a hundred years snow of this amount fell in this area on Halloween.
The streets in my neighborhood were deserted. A cold wind howled, and Mother Natures cold breath froze everything. I ventured out…
