There’s No Such Thing As Toxic Positivity. Sorry. It’s an oxymoron

When my Dad died, some people said some stupid things. Not everyone, of course. Some people hugged me and said they’re so sorry.

That’s the right thing to say, incidentally. I’m sorry goes really far when someone is in pain and you don’t know what to say.
