Before we begin, a little bit about what we represent.

  • The Helm — The steering wheel of a ship. The helm represents the requirement for people to follow their internal compass similar to a way finder on a ship or sailboat.
  • The Grain — The grain represents self sufficiency and independence. Free from the encumbrances of the societal norms and structure.
  • The Ripple Star — The star represents the fact that our actions should not be self centered but should positively impact the lives of people around us. A positive ripple effect.

Speaking to people from different walks of life, one gains perspective and understands the inner workings of a human mind. At least to some extent I think I do.

The common thread across the people spoken to would be the same.

I wish I could do that.

I have always wanted to do something like that.

This has been a dream of mine for so long.

The only question that would pop into my mind would be, “Why aren’t they pursuing their dream?”.

The answer is inevitably one thing, fear.

People get bogged down by all the if’s and but’s without thinking of all the upsides that await them.

I am talking about people who only talk the talk but never walk the walk. People who have hidden desires but never did anything to actually realize them. Ranging from topics like travel, staring their own company, spending time on their hobby, people are afraid to do what they like.

The Passion People Project is an en devour to jolt people out of their comfort zone and into an area of their life that they actually care about, something that they are passionate about.

How do we intend to do this?

Leading by example.

Over the next year, this publication will catalog the stories of ordinary people, doing extra-ordinary things. Extra-ordinary, not for others but for themselves. People who are listening to the call of their heart and feeding their soul. Isn’t it inevitable that they should be doing extremely well in life? Well, not really. The stories that would be covered will include not only people who are already successful, but also people who are on the arduous path to success as well.

As one of the Passion People said, “Being passionate about something is not just dreaming about something, but actually executing and persevering at a time when things are not necessarily going your way.”

Come, read and listen(yes, there is going to be a podcast as well) to stories of people who we hope will make you dig a little deeper and push towards what you want a little bit harder.

A new story, every 2 weeks. Every alternate Friday.

Love,

Naga
