Confronting a Lynching … on stage.

Quite possibly the REAL success of the Off-Off Broadway Movement and thus, independent theater, is the fact that difficult stories can now be told. Without the corporate paranoia that pervades stage and film, indie work can say what it needs to say — how it needs to say it.

One of the last surviving theaters of that era — the American Theatre of Actors — will present two dynamic works by an author that won’t shut-up. Moves and Countermoves: New Works by James Crafford, will perform January 22 — February 2, 2020 (Wednesday — Saturday @ 8:00 p.m. and Sunday at 3:00 p.m.)…
