The pandemic laid waste to so much of the commercial arts of New York, but the arts of the independent scene ambitiously used this time of a level playing field to expand its personal horizons. One such company is Face to Face Films. What started as a small indie film and live theater group has — over the pandemic — exploded into a multimedia organization with a vast staff and repertory of artists presenting live theater, film, video, webisodes, and recently hosted its own film festival. Now, they are developing one of their more successful original dramas into an off-Broadway play.

In dealing with them for the length of the pandemic I’ve watched them — as a company — grow exponentially. Now I wanted to explore their feelings on the personal growth they have experienced.
