Black Queer Lives Matter organized the Marsha P. Johnson Rally at the Pan-American Neighborhood Park on the last day of the full month of protests and the 51st anniversary of the Stonewall uprising.

Despite the rainy weather, organizers weatherproofed their equipment so the event could continue.
People came with umbrellas painted with Black Live Matter mottos.
Many Austin drag queens came out to speak and perform for the audience.
Organizers passed out flags and condoms to the people in attendance.
As with other demonstrations this month, signs were a staple of the event.
Speakers at the event were accompanied by an ASL translator for the hearing impaired.
Despite the rain, people came out to support the movement — with or without umbrellas.
