Our Mission
In the struggle to replace capitalism with a more humane, just, equal and sustainable system, Left and progressive organizations must assume a far more proactive role. Our movement consists of thousands of grassroots activist groups, siloed NGOs and millions of unaffiliated supporters. What it lacks is infrastructure. No framework exists today for regular networking, collective analysis, professional training, strategizing, planning of joint actions, follow-up or evaluation — certainly not at a global level. Yet no struggle for a new world can succeed unless it offers a compelling alternative to the current hegemony of transnational capitalism and develops the means to translate its program into an effective movement. That is TPYN’s mission.
