ETHDenver is just weeks away and Pepo is the official social app for the February 14–16 #BUIDLathon and Community Gathering. So before you head out to the Mile High City, make sure to introduce yourself to the crypto community on Pepo and let your fellow “Bufficorns” (ETHDenver-speak for attendees) know how you plan to participate.

Join the #ETHDenver conversation on Pepo:

The crypto community has already created thousands of videos on Pepo. Add your voice to the mix and be ready for ETHDenver.

Your First #ETHDenver Mission starts today!

  • Speakers: Create a video on Pepo to preview your talk and invite hackers to workshops
  • Judges: Share what you’re most hoping to see get built
  • Hackers: Let other builders know what kind of project you want to work on.

Throughout the three-day gathering, attendees will be creating Pepo videos to form teams, explain projects, debrief on hacks, coordinate meetings and, maybe even find time to celebrate Valentine’s Day #BeMyBufficorn style.

Let’s get started!

  1. Download Pepo for iOS or Android.
  2. Add your voice to the mix and start posting why you’re excited to BUIDL!
  3. Use the official hashtags #ETHDenver and #imapegabufficorn whenever you post.

What to Expect at ETHDenver & On Pepo ETHDenver

All in all, about 2,000 people are expected to descend on Denver from about 50 countries and all 50 U.S. states.

This year, ETHDenver is an interactive DAO ecosystem where every attendee will have the ability to earn blockchain-based reputation and voting power as stakeholders through interactions with venue installations, art experiences, arcade games and more.

On Pepo, ETHDenver participants will also be able to earn bonus tokens for providing short video updates leading up to and during the event.

ETHDenver speakers include Vitalik Buterin, Joseph Lubin of ConsenSys, Caitlin Long of WyoHackathon , and Erik Voorhees of Shapeshift. See the full list of announced speakers and sponsors on ETHDenver’s website.

Alongside lots of experiential blockchain tech, this year’s free event will also feature educational opportunities, networking events, panels and fireside chats, blockchain-infused art installations, futurism discussions, podcasting and more. Themes include: DeFi; DAOs and Token Engineering (TE); Gaming and Usability; Protocols and Interoperability; and Public Good and Social Impact. Industry experts will also weigh in on topics like decentralization, privacy, identity, non-fungible tokens, scaling, governance, diversity, and arts and culture in blockchain.

How to Spend your Pepo Coins on Exclusive Swag

The Pepo team will be offering some limited edition ETHDenver swag that can only be purchased with Pepo Coins. The way to earn Pepo Coins is by posting compelling content and getting Pepo ‘likes’ — every Pepo like earns a token worth real value.
