Depending on which model of PER 2000 you have, the General Protocol can seem to soak up a lot of time, especially when areas of concern are nowhere near it. Skipping the General Protocol is one of the biggest mistakes a practitioner can make. Read on to review the general protocol and get a refresher on how to perform it.

When energy is delivered to the body by the PER 2000, the Central Nervous System (CNS) will prioritize the most important systems and direct that energy appropreately. If we do not perform the General Protocol, the CNS and major organs will “steal” the energy from where we have delivered it, and redirect it to the crucial systems first. Performing the Pulsed Energy General Protocol essentially “pays off” the major organs and CNS, allowing you to then deliver all the energy that is needed to where you intend it.

Pulsed Energy Technologies believes the PER 2000 is the perfect marriage of Eastern and Western Medicine. This protocol, and the order it is performed in, was cultivated from Eastern Medicine practices.

Each model of PER 2000 has a certain amount of time required per position. The HD model requires 2 minutes and the Mini model requires 3 minutes. Use the appropriate amount of time for the PER 2000 you own when following protocol positions.

Always remember to rest your HD or Mini for 5 minues for every 30 minutes of use. Users with excess adipose tissue may need slightly longer protocols.

Position 1: Over the heart

(Left) Position 1 (Right) Alternative Position 1

The user should hold the applicator as close to the chest as feels comfortable, while making sure to hold the applicator at the top of the collarbone, over the thymus. New users may be concerned about their heart rate. The PER 2000 does not change the rhythm of the heart. The skeletal muscles simply jump because the range of RF (radio frequency) signals being produced by the PER 2000 include the signals the brain sends to activate that particular muscle. The electrical signals in the heart are not controlled by the brain.

Position 2: Crown of the Head

Position 2

This position can be performed in several ways. For the user performing alone, it is easy to do from a seated position, with the elbows placed on the knees, and the head dropped into the center of the loop. Half of the applicator can be used if the closed applicator (above) is too intense.

Position 3: Middle of the Back

(Left) Position 3 (Right) Alternative Position 3

The last position is a focus on the core organs. If the user is uncomfortable with the closed applicator, it can be opened and wrapped around the torso.

Position 4–7: Box the Problem Area

Finally! We get to focus on the problem area. When left to our own devices, we tend to forget how important the “boxing” of the problem area is. Users will often make the mistake of leaving the applicator laying over the problem area in only one position for a prolonged period of time. “Boxing” is critical in order to saturate the area with PEMFs.

Some areas may be more sensitive than others, and with the PER 2000, an inch goes a mile. Be sure to “search” for “the spot” over each angle here. It is important at in at least 1–2 of the minimum 4 angles are we are able to locate and pulse “the spot”.

Users should always do a self check-in after the session, and if the body is “asking” for more time on a certain area, it is important to oblige that feeling and spend a few more minutes on that particular angle or position.

Below we will use the right shoulder as an example for boxing.

The user should hold the applicator close enough that they feel the pulse in “the spot” but it not so close that there is discomfort.

(Left) Position 4: From the Front (Right) Position 5: Top-down
(Left) Position 6: From the Back (Right) Position 6: Alternative. The use of towels to adjust comfort level
(Left) Position 7: Arm through (Center) Position 7: Arm through adjusted for comfort (Right) Positon 7: Arm through, half loop. Comfort adjustment

The PER 2000 is a an incridible modality, and when used in conjunction with the General Protocol, results are far greater and longer lasting. Always be sure to perform the General Protocol along with boxing the problem area. Overuse can cause muscle soreness, so use the PER 2000 every other day or every 3 days when working hard on a problem.
