Being a good guy in India is a difficult task.You have absolutely no idea when and how people will use you.
Its just not enough to be useful to people but one has to be smart enough on how you are helping them.
This fad has taken over new 20s something girls in India…you see them in colleges,offices,malls,restaurants etc.
So basically when you help such creatures you generally get response “ohhh thank you so much”, “you are such a lifesaver”but what is actually being said in their mind is “yes yes yes !!!i got one more bakra.”
Whether it is to develop some code or create presentation or paying restaurant bill or even dropping them at their home ,
such creatures use these guys till their maximum potential utility and generally it is very late till the guy realises that he was
being used so badly.
Remember being called brother by any girl other than your actual or cousin sister ?
Just analyse rationally , what help were you providing her at that moment…whether listening to her “how my bf treats me bad” stories or helping her with some topics in school or just being her taxi driver.
Some girls of these era have pro actively exploited the word brother as “someone who can be used again and again by keeping him away from relationship zone.”
So next time any girl who decides to call you brother , take a piece of paper and draw a big
line in middle of that and write down who is providing what in this so called brother-sister relationship. Even if its 70-30 percent in your favour , you can still think of going ahead but please stop being used by this selfish creatures.sometimes you also need to be selfish.
I have been asked pick up at 1 am , anarakali dress,mobile phones,some expensive stuff with a dialogue “you can’t do this much for your sister” with puppy eyes. My general response is “if i spend so much now on sister then what will i spend on my spouse in future”
Let me tell you how it really ends , these girls marry someone other than their bf for several years(whose stories you have heard zillion of times while consoling her).They call their new found husband adjectives like “chivalrous, kind hearted, dedicated” and tell us to be more like them as if you have been doing monkey business till now.
I wish that I had known these things before but any ways every day there are so many guys touching their 20s and I bet they ll be put in “bhai zone” and ll be used for code,taxi driving,paying bills and what not purposes.So just be careful.
There is more respect in having one girl in life and being useful to her than having bunch full of so called sisters who suck life
out of you every living moment.
