One of the great things about being a business owner is coming up with new ideas, products, and services. You’re solving a problem and that feels good. The ideas come while you’re in the shower or driving. Sometimes they hit you like a lightning bolt and you have to stop what you’re doing to record your thoughts. It’s exciting to experience and as you work through your thoughts hours can pass like minutes.
Then the actual work has to be done. The website needs to be updated. Content needs to be created. Systems need to be established and so on. This is the not so fun stuff which weighs you down. Someone has to do the work. It doesn’t have to be you. There are a lot of details to take care of. Manage them instead of performing them.
A virtual assistant can take your ideas and do the things which weigh you down. You don’t have to come off your cloud and work in your business. You can continue to work on it. Those tedious searches and figuring out the best way to do something can drag you down. It takes the joy and excitement of your new ideas right out of you. It makes me think of meetings. So many people dread them because you come out with a to-do list. However, one person comes out and they feel great because they completely lightened their load. Who is that person? The boss. Remember you are the boss and you get to delegate. Your idea gets to stay as fresh and exciting as you have your VA work on the details.
