I’m Trying Out Substack
See if this interest you
Hello everyone,
I’ve been trying to figure out a way to make this email list more community focused with a new comment feature. Luckily, I stumbled upon Substack. I’m going to play around with this platform for a bit to see if the different features are advantages for you the reader! Additionally, it provides me the ability to more easily carry over my Patreon content into an exclusive feed all in one place! Allow me to explain….
Essentially, I’ll continue to have the free weekly newsletter (that usually comes weekly). For those on Medium, you can sign up for that community for free here. But on top of that, I’ll have listed paid subscribers content all in one place. However, it will be locked for those in the free email list. Hope that makes sense….
So if you’re interested in the paid content here is my plan:
- I’ll be featuring my Patreon bonus episode feed on here, with stuff currently on psychedelics, self-help, morality, psychology, death, religion, atheism, politics, and more. And of course, much more content related to this to come with this official launch. For those subscribed to the Bonus episode feed on Patreon, nothing changes, as I’m planning to begin posting all content in both places. However, feel free to switch over if you prefer this platform (Patreon can be glitchy).
- Also included with the subscription, I’ll be able to provide more exclusive content such as reading recommendations, quotes, questions to consider, and my ebooks I’m finishing up will be included. This is more feasible with Substack’s more flexible content options.
- Plus, you’ll get other exclusive PDF’s/Ebooks I create in the future and any other exclusive content ideas I create for those subscribed.
- Since I’m going to be testing out a few things I’m giving new paid subscribers an extra $20 off the yearly subscription (taking it from $50 to $30). Plus, I want to give the opportunity to my current email subscribers as a thank you for your support!
- If you don’t want the year-long commitment — that’s understandable — you can sign up for the $5 monthly rate (same as Patreon).
Feel free to reach out with any questions. And thanks for reading!
Kind regards,
A Philosopher’s Stone and Brenden “The Philosophy Guy” Weber
