We’re excited to share a list of new self-published photo books following our recent break and early month relaunch. Quite a few titles we have to show you today!
The recent relaunch made The Phooks even a better place for self- & indie photobook publishers to share, promote, and sell their publications. The whole platform works faster and smoother than before, so we hope you will enjoy looking at books and ordering your favorite copies.
Pieces of Berlin (vol. 3) photobook by Florian Reischauer
Florian’s long-term documentary project explores the daily life and residents of Berlin through a blend of street and urban landscape photography, accompanied by quotes from the subjects in the photos.
The project, which began in 2009, has gained significant attention, including exhibitions, awards, and media coverage in Germany and internationally.
This third edition, published in December last year, covers Florian’s work from 2013 to 2019.
DRIFTWOOD 15 | New York photo zine by Christian Reister
A new zine from the already-known and best-selling Driftwood series featuring street photography images from New York Subway in a recognizable high-contrast and harsh Christian’s style.
Nacht & Nebel photobook by Christian Resiter
This book is a compilation of images of previously published in the DRIFTWOOD zine series.
Focused on Berlin, it features Christian work from 2010 to 2023. The book is wrapped in a metallic cardboard dust jacket.
Berlin After Dark photobook by Christian Reister
The unusual format of this book offers 20 one-color digital offset printed postcards bound together and can be detached.
The Annihilation of Space and Time photobook by Zerofeedback
A collective publication features 78 visual artists brought together to explore the theme of Space and Time.

Venice photobook by Giacomo Brunelli
“In January 2020, Brunelli took to the bridges and canals of Venice, two months after the city experienced devastating flooding — a result of the worst acqua alta, or high water, in over 50 years.
Having always been fascinated by the city’s vulnerability, he embarked on a project that explores the archipelago’s uniquely intricate landscape: over 100 islands connected by countless bridges and waterways.”
The book offers a collector edition with a silver-gelatine print.
Around the Line photobook by Lefteris Paraskevaidis
The book is based on a ten-year-long series of images Lefteris made during his trips around Thessaloniki, Greece.
Capturing both planned and spontaneous trips, the images delve into the evolving Greek landscape marked by structural works, abandoned spaces, and makeshift constructions.
