Just another Photoshop mashup….

This one’s unusually vertical (if it’s not obvious, I don’t usually do vertical), has a lot of negative space (which is a big part of my non-photography design, but my photos tend to crowd it out), and it’s particularly evocative for me because the foggy streetscape is of where I lived and had my studio in Industrial East Oakland for so long (and from where I was basically priced out a year or two ago — see “Fifteen Years In Jingletown”). Plus I like the way the central fuzzy black triangle looks suggestively just like something it isn’t (unusually, in this case what it suggests is actually hidden — this is not a Naked…). The printed version looks great hanging on my wall, and has formed the basis for a bunch of variants, with and without text, that may end up here sometime as well. We shall see….
