Enabling a Cheating Friend Is Just as Bad as Cheating
My best friend cheated and I told her husband.
Imagine finding out your new spouse has been cheating on you and the child you recently had together wasn’t really yours.
Pretty devastating, right?
To make things even worse, you quickly learn nearly all of your partner’s friends knew about it and covered for her.
In this story, the pregnant spouse was my best friend, and I was the one to expose her by telling her new husband the truth.
Did I do the right thing? I’m still not sure. But, I sleep much easier at night knowing I’m not one of the numerous people in her life who helped conceal her infidelity.
The way I see it, people who choose to cover for a cheater are even bigger assholes than the cheater.
