Swingers live unashamed of their sexuality and desire — and unapologetically seek out pleasure.

Almost every swinger I’ve met has worked hard to cultivate some serious self-awareness — and has confidence in spades.

They also have a lot of stories.

Good, bad, funny, and downright awkward stories.

It’s impossible to spend time in the lifestyle without picking up some incredible tales of misfortune, mistakes, and sexual mishaps.

These unfortunate swinging experiences unite us all.

There’s an intimacy between swingers — no matter if we’ve played together or not — our unique situations and sometimes cringe-worthy experiences unite us.

Like the time I found out that my cousin died just before we were going to jump into bed(s) and play with a couple of new swinger friends.

After stepping into the bathroom to take the urgent phone call from my mother — I told them what had happened and asked if we could take a rain check.
