This is the Saddest Thing That’s Ever Happened

There’s been some speculation about whether Kevin Love is trying to high five LeBron James in this video, or just trying to demonstrate how he closed out on someone or something of the sort. Maybe the latter is the case, but we’re just going to go ahead and act like it isn’t.

Excluding incidents involving the death, sickness, or serious injury 0f real people, this is the saddest thing that has happened in the past 10 years. Here’s a quick list of things that this Vine is equally as sad as:

• When Marley died (Old Yeller is also acceptable).
• That time Papaw made 12 burgers for all 6 grandkids and only one came to dinner.
• Kevin dropping the Chili
• The entire final 30 minutes of Toy Story 3

These are all things that could make a serious case for the Rushmore of saddest things of all time, and this Kevin Love Vine easily rivals them in level of sadness. This Vine is the kind of thing that makes you want to call your mother and tell her how much you love her right after you see it.
