The Players Tribune photographers spent a night at Citi Field, chronicling the NL Wild Card Game between the New York Mets and the San Francisco Giants. The game featured two of the game’s most brilliant arms, Noah Syndergaard and Madison Bumgarner, and came down to a single swing; the tension was immeasurable.
