2. Architecture The Santa Monica community in Los Angeles, California, is to build its first prefabricated affordable housing development. The complex measures approximately 1,000 square feet and consists of 13 units. The architectural project was designed by Brooks & Scarpa. They used the modular system ‘Nest Living Home Toolkit’ created by PlantPrefab, a company specialized in prefabricated buildings. System that allows it to be affordable. Read full story
