As a leader, you will always need to convince others to believe in your plan and strategy. This book gives you great advice on where to start and how to work with individuals and teams. Simon Sinek wrote a couple of different books about leadership and company culture but this one is probably his most successful as of now. Even if you are not people managing others yet, this book can be a huge help when it comes to stakeholder management and lateral leadership.

This book goes well together with Radical Candor by Kim Scott

A sip:

‘Some in management positions operate as if they are in a tree of monkeys. They make sure that everyone at the top of the tree looking down sees only smiles. But all too often, those at the bottom looking up see only asses.’

Start with Why

How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action
by Simon Sinek

Leadership | Product Management | Marketing

Why read?

Simon Sinek shows that the leaders who’ve had the greatest influence in the world all think, act, and communicate the same way — and it’s the opposite of what everyone else does. Sinek calls this powerful idea The Golden Circle, and it provides a framework upon which organizations can be built, movements can be led, and people can be inspired. And it all starts with WHY.
