How to Create Tech Products Customers Love
by Marty Cagan
My opinion
Probably on everyone’s shelf already, put it on your boss’s shelf? Incredibly useful as “the one book you need to read” for someone curious to understand what modern product development is about. In particular for executives/C-suite in more traditional digital companies!

The Five Dysfunctions of a Team
A Leadership Fable
by Patrick Lencioni
My opinion
This book is useful both for seasoned professionals and PM’s who want to deepen their understanding of how to build healthy, high-performing teams. Unlike many other management books, it’s written like a novel which makes not only for insightful but also entertaining reading. It focuses on the role of trust in teams. Hint: it’s the foundation for everything.

Judgment in Managerial Decision Making
by Max H. Bazerman
My opinion
Despite the extremely dry-sounding title, this book helped me understand human bias. Similar thematically but shorter and easier to look up different biases than “Thinking, fast and slow” by Daniel Kahneman (another great book for PMs).

The Coaching Habit
Say Less, Ask More & Change the Way You Lead
by Michael Bungay Stanier
My opinion
Very hands-on, actionable book for leaders and PMs to have richer conversations with team members. Some powerful question I use on a weekly basis.

Sense & Respond
How Successful Organizations Listen to Customers and Create New Products Continuously
by Jeff Gothelf and Josh Seiden
My opinion
One of the best books about product discovery, the most looked-over fundamental part of product development. An accessible, funny and important read!
272 pages, Harvard Business Review Press 2017
Brave New Work
Are You Ready to Reinvent Your Organization?
by Aaron Dignan
My opinion
Inspiring and sometimes a painful read about some of the weird, taken-for-granted, ways that many companies operate — and how to break it down and build something better!
