Caravan of Loneliness
A poem about the journey of life, and the challenges of finding your place in the world.
What can I do? No one seems to embrace me,
And you, well, you’re not truly mine either.
Go, I’ve set you free,
Never say that binding is better.
Here, there are gatherings aplenty to see,
But in this caravan, who’s genuinely together?
It’s your wish to say as you please,
I’ve never been this affordable, you see.
Work has become somewhat like love,
No language now discusses me from above.
Life, today I swear to you,
Never die before death ensues.
Even with an ocean in my eye’s expanse,
Yet, rainfall here is but a rare dance.
