Is fear a chain holding you back en route to your dream?

Our fears,
and prejudices —
are chains binding us.

We’re stuck,
in place. Immobile,
not following our dreams.

Chained:
by ourselves and others
to dark, dreary, dungeon walls.

Our fear,
of facing our fears,
keep us bound. Stagnant.

Let go
of your fear.
Take a step,
towards your dream.

Slowly,
step by step,
building confidence.
Tasting the route to freedom.

The light of your dreams will set you free
get rid of the chain of fears and disbelief,
that keeps you pedaling water in life’s ocean.

Head for your dream that will set you free …

Author’s note:

I wondered about the factors that keep us from reaching our dreams.
