Graphic Design Summer Internship at FlexPoint Media

FlexPoint Media, a top political media consulting firm working with the biggest Republican campaigns, committees, PACs, and advocacy groups, is seeking applicants for our paid Graphic Design Summer Internship.

Based in our Alexandria, Virginia office, Graphic Design Interns will work with FlexPoint’s digital team to create and design persuasion and acquisition advertising and digital content for clients ranging from campaigns to issue-based advocacy groups.

We are looking for interns who are imaginative, innovative, and driven by a passion for finding creative solutions to big problems. The perfect candidate is someone who is not afraid to challenge themselves and push the envelope, setting big goals, and finding new ways to take advantage of the ever-expanding digital space.

You must also be comfortable giving and receiving feedback, whether among clients, colleagues, or contractors.

Responsibilities will include:

• Teaming up with FlexPoint colleagues to brainstorm concepts and provide the best solutions to solve our client’s problems
• Designing high quality graphics, utilizing our clients’ branding, and executing our content strategy
• Identifying creative campaign solutions and developing them from start to finish while ensuring deliverables meet campaign goals, brand standards, and agency quality expectations
• Proof-reading work and ensuring all work is 100% error-free

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Experience in graphic design, web design, and/or visual arts
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
• Meticulous attention to detail
• A team player mentality, including a willingness to be coached by others
• Ability to hit tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects
• Problem-solving and creative acumen
• Previous political experience a plus, but not required

The Graphic Design Summer Internship is a full-time, in-person, paid internship program that runs June-August 2022. Applicants should be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program or be a recent graduate.
