As the rainy season comes to an end, the Conservancy wants to thank all of the cities and counties in Florida who have passed stringent fertilizer ordinances that ban the application of fertilizer during the height of the rainy season.
Over 100 municipalities in the state of Florida have adopted such measures.
We especially want to lend our heartfelt support to the City of Naples, whose stringent fertilizer ordinance is under legal attack by the turf industry. Thank you to Naples City Council and staff for standing behind your appropriate and environmentally beneficial ordinance.
The Conservancy congratulates you!
