Public Service Announcement: There is a rumor circulating on social media that a ballot has to have EVERY bubble and candidate filled in to be valid. This is NOT true. Voters only need to vote on ONE issue or candidate for their ballots to be valid. The rumor is being spread as another way to suppress the vote, especially for new voters, or infrequent voters.

A compromised Supreme Court shamelessly overturned constitutional protections for abortion access, blatantly violating US international human rights obligations, and human rights guaranteed by state constitutions. American families are facing dire consequences as restrictive state laws endanger women’s lives and health. The Dobbs decision not only has increased maternal mortality — pregnant women dying — in states with abortion bans, especially in states with the most restrictive laws, but has also reduced access to reproductive health care for families wanting healthy pregnancies.
