I Made The Mistake of Debating A MAGA Cultist

I’ve learned the hard way not to debate Republican voters online. Several years ago, I lost a job because I spoke the truth to a GOP voter. I pointed out that far-right commentator Ann Coulter sold books to racist white men, but liked having sex with Black men in secret. That happens to be the stone-cold truth.

It turns out Republicans don’t like hearing the truth. The comment reached a client who was also a Republican, and within a few months, I parted ways with my employer, who was also a Tea Party member. Looking back, that job was a disaster waiting to happen. This same former boss tried to get me to attend a Coulter speech.

They Can’t Handle The Truth

Lesson learned. Never speak the truth to a Republican. They prefer lies and propaganda, which explains why Donald Trump was twice elected.

Over the years, I’ve refrained from debating Republicans online. And I’ve realized…
