I hate “If” hypotheticals. However, here goes.

If Vice President Kamala Harris were a white male ex-prosecutor, with the same credentials, this election is not close. Same age. Same career. Same education. Same path to politics. Slam dunk, Boom!

For ever since I can remember, Americans vote for ex-prosecutors, ex-district attorneys, and ex-state attorneys. They vote for public servants with experience. Americans don’t vote and (usually) don’t vote for candidates adjudicated as a rapist, a felon, a lawbreaker, an openly dishonest person, and one lacking with the temperment.

Yet, somehow despite all of the baggage of the Grifter, the qualifications of Kamala Harris are totally dismissed. Overlooked.

First, she is a person of color. It shouldn’t mattter but it does it seems. Not sure why but it seems to matter to many.

Next, she is a woman. It should not matter but it does.

But her qualifications dwarf the qualifications of the opponent and the opponent failed in the job already and is corrupt beyond all recognition. You would not rehire the Grifter for this job after what he did in the job. And then, look what he did when…
