The Blood-soaked Truth About Thanksgiving

We have been lied to for 500 years

Teach your children what we have taught our children, that the earth is our mother. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the sons of the earth. If men spit upon the ground, they spit upon themselves.

This we know: The earth does not belong to man — man belongs to the earth. This we know: All things are connected like the blood that unites one’s family. All things are connected.

Chief Seattle, 1854

From birth, it is drilled into every American’s brain, heart, and soul that the Thanksgiving holiday ranks right up there with Christmas and the Fourth of July.

Indeed, for many, Thanksgiving is more worthy, more sacrosanct and sanctified, and therefore supersedes even the celebration of Jesus the Christ’s birth itself.

Thanksgiving mythologizes a perverted version of Christianity as the first way and means of justifying theft, murder, and outright genocide of this land’s Native peoples — people who possessed this land for thousands upon thousands of years before European Christian invaders, those undocumented illegal aliens, those soon-to-be self-described “white” settler-colonists, even knew it existed.
