Project 2025, Among Other Things, Tries to Erase the 1619 Project
Project 2025 was the Heritage Foundation-funded roadmap for the next conservative president once Republicans returned to power. Over 100 conservative organizations, including the Center for Immigration Studies, Moms for Liberty, Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, Tea Party Patriots, Turning Point USA, and America First Legal Foundation, participated in putting it together.
During the 2024 presidential election, Democrats attempted to link Donald Trump to Project 2025. On multiple occasions, Trump denied any involvement in the plan, saying he’d purposely never read it.

As soon as Trump won the election, he began putting in place the architects of Project 2025, including Russ Vought, who was just confirmed as director of the Office of Management and Budget, and Stephen Miller as the White House deputy chief of staff for policy.
