Will Joe Biden’s Handoff to Kamala Harris Change America’s Politics?
It’s a chance
I do not know about you but I am enjoying the short Presidential campaign. It is a sprint and not the usual mud slinging marathon that drives us all crazy.
It is condensed in time and there is less to sort out. Kamala Harris, of Oakland California, and the current Vice President of the United States v. Donald Trump of Mar-a-Lago, Florida, private businessman. This is how it should be really. A very short campaign, one, two, or no debates, and then we begin to vote, the modern way (not with paper ballots as Trump said).
Of course, this is by accident. President Biden could not do it so he abdicated his throne. Harris has stepped in like an ace closer in the World Series to save the game. Trump is up at the plate hacking trying to get a hit.
If we could have a process like this for all political parties and then the election, I will take it. Yet, we all know, the political cartels that actually run this — Republican and Democrat — will never allow changes to the system not in their favor. What am I saying?
