Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman is a Twerp

Mr. Everything? Balderdash!

I don’t know how this guy is ever going to be successful when King AlzHeimer kicks the bucket. He’s a smarmy little thing.

Because MBS (Mohammed Bin Salman) is a puppy, the young people of KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) think he’s attuned to their generation - their needs & aspirations. However, a reformer he is not. So good luck with that kids, but don’t hold your breath.

The Crown Prince doesn’t focus on important & necessary improvements like jobs and livable income. Instead he has introduced entertainment to include concerts, stage productions, film showings and comedy performances. Yay, fun! Forget about his subjects need to pay their rent and utilities of which the cost is rising at a nice pace. It’s too bad that many average Saudis can’t enjoy a pricey night out at the cinema, or see a comedian when there is very little to laugh about. The Crown Prince just doesn’t get it.

Recently, right after Saudi civil servants (67% of the work force) salaries, health care & holiday benefits were slashed by one third, as well as major subsidy cuts, guess what the Twerp did.

The puppy bought himself a $500 million yacht. Bubble Boy has no idea what being a real person means, and he doesn’t seem to care.

Of course there was a huge uproar, and I mean people were super upset, so the slashes were reversed while the 2,000+ members of the ruling family (who never felt the pinch) continued to collect lavish allowances for doing nothing.

It never occurs to the "royal" family that flamboyant spending & ostentatious wealth doesn’t sit well with the average Joe, and The House of Saud is flummoxed when there is dissension. Imagine that.

The Crown Prince doesn’t know how to govern (in my opinion), and I don’t know if he listens to advisers. MBS is very arrogant and gives himself more credit than he deserves, Mr. Everything undoubtedly believes he knows everything, but how can he? His ascendancy in the governmental ranks was fast tracked at the speed of light at the behest of daddy. When did this baby have the time and opportunity to learn what the positions & responsibilities entailed? Nobody can absorb so much information that quickly or receive the necessary hands-on experience.

2008 (age 23) MBS joined the Saudi Cabinet.

2009 He became a special adviser to his father.

2010 Junior became secretary-general of the Riyadh Competitive Council and a member of the board of trustees for Albir Society.

2011 MBS took a number of trips in the region on behalf of the Saudi regime, such as going to the Kingdom of Bahrain to discuss diplomacy. I apologize, but I find that so extremely funny that all I can do is laugh.

2012 He became Chief of the Crown Prince Court.

2014 He became State Minister.

2015:
A. He was appointed as Saudi Arabia’s Defence Minister by this father who was now King.

B. He was appointed Deputy Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, making him one of the most powerful men in the Middle East at the tender age of 29.

C. MBS began launching strikes against the Houthi in Yemen, and was accused by Amnesty International of war crimes.

D. Began meeting world leaders and diplomats to discuss bilateral relations. Oh, good Lord! Stop it already, you’re killing me. Note to self… Must Stop Laughing.

2016
A. Outlined his "$2 trillion megafund" plan to reduce the country’s reliance on oil, part of his Vision 2030 pipe dream.

B. Oil prices began to drop, and, hopefully, the neutering of this dude. Other nations began labeling him a "political gambler" who could destabilize the Arab world. Fantastic prediction, because the fracturing of the OPEC nations has begun.

C. Louder criticism of KSA’s human rights and social equality record begins.

D. Abruptly pulled out of an accord to cut oil output, angering allies and foes alike.

2017
A. Sends King Fuddy-Duddy out into the world on a rainbow tour to promote the sale of IPO stock in Saudi Aramco based on an obvious, pull-it-out-of-thin-air inflated valuation. That’s a sign that MBS is beginning to realize that the kingdom is in trouble.

B. Begins the Citizen’s Account, a “shielding the poor” program to soften the impact of austerity measures on low and middle-income Saudis. Again, another admission that KSA is in trouble & desperately needs to change. More than 10 million citizens (half of the total Saudi national population) have signed up since the first of February this year.

C. Plans new excise taxes on “harmful products,” doubling the price of tobacco and energy drinks and putting a 50% levy on soda. I believe this commenced in April of this year, and will be followed by a 5% value added tax in 2018 which will have an even broader effect on the cost of living.

D. There is an increase in visa charges for Muslims completing their religious pilgrimage, the Hajj, to Mecca. This pilgrimage is something that Muslims must do at least once in their lifetime, unless their health or finances makes it an impossibility. If raising the cost to complete the Hajj isn’t taking advantage of people then I don’t what is.

E. Accelerates global ass kissing

F. Announces that, beginning in July 2017, the “Saudi Arabia is for Saudis” campaign (so named by citizens) will begin. KSA will charge fees for foreign workers, increasing annually until it reaches 400 riyals, and each dependent will be subject to this fee. In effect, foreign workers (typically domestics) will now have to pay more to be treated like pieces of crap stuck to the sole of the Saudi sandal.

G. Meets with Trump and hammers out a maddening multi-billion dollar arms deal. But KSA is hemorrhaging green due to the severe decline in oil prices, which are not likely to rebound to the halcyon days of $100 per barrel. As it stands, crude is currently running at an average of $50 per barrel. In order for the Saudis to break even, they need to sell at $72 — $74 per. Uh, oh. Can they really afford this purchase?

H. And, unfortunately, if the deal does go through, I’d venture to guess that a good portion of the weaponry will be used against Yemen, and the Yemeni body count will continue to tick upwards. In addition, I whole-heartedly believe that weapons will continue to be funneled to terrorist organizations. If our government continues to spread our military thinly around the world into an increasing number of hot spots, I am afraid that weapons from this deal will draw a bead on American soldiers. Can you say National Suicide?

I. Junior ousts his competition in the fight for the throne. We all expected that, we just didn’t know when. Buh- bye dude, just keep quiet, collect your allowance and build a new palace.

Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman is a petulant & entitled problem child. He is a joke. He is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, so don’t turn your back on him. As a nation we cannot afford to trust him, depend on him or expect him to behave. But The House of Saud is beginning to fall like a house of cards. Have a drink on me.
