The US election has enormous ramifications for the rest of the world and Americans shouldn’t forget it. As the polls draw closer, the global citizenry from Madrid to Melbourne and from Buenos Aires to Beijing watch with baited breath. We don’t get a vote, but everyone here in Europe would love a proxy.
