My eyes blink with doubt
for naked stand you here,
by African majestic falls
you dance upon the air.

Across the ocean’s vastness,
duty’s barrier of miles,
you grasp upon my thought of you
and come riding upon a smile.

We embrace in slippery skin,
and like wet clay squeeze into one,
our body twists and swirls
until formless; none.

We return upon a wistful wind
and like children, we hug and sway,
until the jealous daylight
sweeps my lover away.
