Bee Careful What You Wish For
A Poem

Last week we celebrated Fall —
and I can tell you all
of us were so happy to leave
Summer’s oven with one big heave.
Then yesterday, among the flowers —
I saw him — never ever one to cower
in the presence of Fall’s finest blooms.
Thinking, though, Egads —
What if Winter comes too soon?
