Courage is a tiny mouse that often goes unnoticed with a small hole in the wall to call home, whereas bravery leads an extravagant life and basks in all its glory.

Courage uses a bike to commute to work like a single mom working multiple jobs to put food on the table, always willing to work just a little bit harder — but bravery has a knack for keeping its feet up.

Courage is a better sport and handles its losses but bravery struggles with results, unless they are positive of course.

Courage is routine like the sun setting and the moon appearing while bravery is sure to appear, but like the tide… timing is not always known.

Courage puts others first, at all costs and is more than willing to risk drowning on dry land or other impossibilities for others, but bravery is concerned with the spotlight and the credit for all the little things.

Courage wears camouflage to conceal itself and be unseen, but bravery wears garish attire, hoping to captivate the attention of others.

Courage is the creature living in isolation from physical dangers, but bravery exists alongside the risks of life.

When it falls, courage is quick to pick itself up, but bravery hesitates until the time is right.

Courage gets up on its own in the morning with time to spare while bravery requires an alarm every five minutes until time is up.

Bravery is the kid who swims without floaties for the first time, while courage is the one who leaps into a sea of sharks to save the kid who thought he didn’t need his floaties anymore.
