Love introduced itself in so many guises
Timothy in primary, who liked to kiss the girls
Chasing around the playgrounds, interrupting
our female communal activity tribes.

We never questioned his rights to pursue
Just ran screaming, enjoying the chase
But not his big soppy lips,
big sloppy kisses on our mouths.
