Can we forever live in the golden hour

everything drenched in a honey-colored glaze

dark brown eyes turned caramel

skin bronzed from the orange star’s rays

the horizon is a painting of trees silhouetted against a cotton candy sky

Can we forever live in the space between day and night

Thank you for reading
