Off to Somewhere New
I’m packing up my bags.
I’m off to somewhere new.
Looking for my next home,
somewhere I can rest my head.
A place with no history,
where I’m at peace at last,
where I can roam freely,
not thinking of my past.
Where yesterday is forgotten,
with no shadows in the dark,
no skeletons to jump out,
reminding me of the past.
Where I’m free to do
whatever I want.
Now that I’m free at last.
