Dance has many benefits, but that doesn’t everything is easy and it that it doesn’t have any challenges that are needed to be overcome. Although dancing is good for the body, at the same time, it isn’t. Dancers are very passionate people and they will do whatever it takes to always be dancing. In most cases, this isn’t good for the dancers’ body. dancers’ will beat themselves up dancing and never let their body’s heal unless it’s a severe injury. Another challenge that dancers tend to face is prioritizing. Even though dancing can help enforce that skill, others have trouble with said skill and try to put their dancing first before anything else. This especially isn’t good when students have lots of work yet chose dancing over finishing their homework or studying. Another challenge that specifically goes with prioritizing, is if a dancer takes just even a week off to catch up on other things, they can miss so much within that one week. Dance is like school, if you miss days, you have to do makeup work. Which means you have to make time in your schedule to attend extra classes to make up for the ones you missed, if you’re on a competitive team, and learn all of the “cleaning” from all your dances. For the most part, these struggles can be resolved, it’s just very challenging since dancing takes up so much of your life, and once you start you can’t go back because that’s how much dancing can affect you and your perception on everything.
