Life’s a blank piece of paper
And ‘they’ are but a blob of black paint on it
They’ll despise you
They’ll pull you down
They’ll boycott you
They will
Because it’s what they are best at
It’s up to you
It has always been up to you
To decide what you want to focus on
To decide what you want to see
To decide what you want to believe.
Most are those who’ll focus on the tiny black dot
The things they couldn’t do
The things they didn’t do
The things they failed at
The things they were mocked at
Most will focus on the darker side
Because it’s natural
Because it’s effortless
Because it’s simple.
Few are those who’ll focus on the vast blank space
The things they can imagine
The things they can pursue
The things that fill them with excitement
The things that makes them feel alive
Only a few will focus on the brighter side
Because
It’s what they learnt to be best at.
Those few are the ones
Who will get up each time they fail
With a broad smile on their face
Who will get stronger each time they are broke
With a confidence like never before
Those few are the ones
Who will inspire generations of human race
Those few are the ones
Who will
Change the world’s face.
