As a member of the US Navy, you will find out real quick how much you despise taking orders. Don’t get me wrong — I have no problem obeying my superiors.

The problem is that I’m always obeying my superiors.

Eventually, you crave freedom and the privilege to become your own boss. You yearn for the time and opportunity to go your own way. The ability to make your own money, on your own terms. To set your own hours and choose how your life will play out. Whether you succeed or fail is entirely up to you — and that’s the beauty of entrepreneurship.

When you become an entrepreneur, you take life into your own hands.

You learn the true value of time
