As girls, we are told to be nice, quiet, and good girls. We are systematically programmed to aim for love from anyone. As we grow older, this learned behavior often evolves with us. We never want to tread on someone’s toe, never want to be rude, or leave another person unsatisfied.

But guess what? As sad as it is, as women, we have also learned that without trodding on some toes, we will never have enough space. Women only ever have what they were willing to fight for.
