The best email a freelancer will ever receive: “I love your work. I’m looking for a specialist like you to help me with my project.”

Being a designer for over seven years, I know exactly how important are my clients. I always try to update my portfolio and read the latest news about trends and technology updates.

But what I really hate is sales. I don’t promote my services; neither have a salesperson in my team. No. I believe that the quality of my work brings me results.

You can’t promote services if they have poor quality.

Here is a quick example of how people reach out to me. I don’t look for clients. Instead, they are looking for specialists and find my design portfolio or Medium articles. They see the quality and decide to reach out to me.

This is a perfect strategy for all freelancers. Rather than promote imperfect services, it’s better to focus on the quality of your work.
