What To Do If You Don’t Want A 9–5 Job

6am- 2pm. Let me explain.
You get up at 5am, half asleep. You jump up, throw your clothes on, brush teeth and grab lunch.
You burst out of the house absolutely knackered and get to work. Sit with the other undead souls sipping coffee.
It’s 6am. Time to get to work. Hopefully by now you are a bit more lively and you can work efficiently. You work hard, doing whatever you do. It’s 9am now, just a little longer… Oh hey it’s lunchtime!
It’s 10am. While most people have got into work an hour in you’re halfway through. At half past 10 you go back to work.
It’s noon now. Your legs feel a little tired (if you’re on your feet). Before you know it there’s an hour, then 30 minutes, 10 minutes…2 minutes.
Boom! You’ve finished your daily grind and it’s only 2pm! You have all day! Go to the gym, go do your writing, go do your side business. Whatever you want. You have 8 complete hours to yourself.
On Friday you can be in a nice quiet pub, with a cold weekend pint. You have enough time to get ready for that concert.
You’re not sitting around waiting to go to work, and when 5pm rolls around you’re relaxed already.
If you have had a shit day at work, don’t stress, you won’t remember it by 6.
You’ll be up by 7am on the weekends, making them last longer. You will be very tired by half 9 but it’s a small price to pay.
