You’re the only one limiting yourself.

Everyone dreams of becoming exceptional and yet so many end up staying average. Why?

Mostly because they expect much less of themselves than they should.

Set Crazy High Goals

The first step towards becoming exceptional is to set high, very high goals. Because if you set high goals you’ll achieve much more than those who settled for less.

It sounds easy but you’d be amazed by the number of people going through their lives without any goals or purposes.

The truth is, many people set low goals because they’re afraid of failing.

You should keep in mind that even your failures will be better than most people’s best.

Never set limits on what you can do. You’d be impressed by what you can accomplish when you decide to stop limiting yourself.

Visualize, Practice, Monitor And Stop Dwelling

The next step is to visualize your goals, keep track of them, measure your performances and practice, practice, practice. This will make you a little bit better everyday.

Lebron James wasn’t born with a positive ratio of 70% of three-points shots scored. He was gifted and naturally talented, yes, but that’s not enough when you want to become the best basketball player in the world.

Another important thing to keep in mind when you’re aiming at becoming exceptional is to stop dwelling on your failures but rather look at your successes and celebrate them.

“Winning isn’t everything. It’s the only thing.” — Vince Lombardi

This means that in order to become a champion, you must learn to only celebrate and remember the positive experiences. But more importantly, you must learn to let go of the negatives ones.

Learn from your mistakes, readjust the trajectory and then move on.

Confidence Is The Key To Success.

It’s definitely not easy to stay motivated 24/7/365… But the courage to create your own reality will help you through hard times.

The self-image you build for yourself will most likely shape what you become in life.

You have to believe in yourself more than anyone else. It sure helps if your parents or your best friend or your coach or you boss deeply believes in you but eventually, when motivation fades a little bit away, you’ll need to find inner strengths on your own.

Because the inability to get motivated is what stops most people from becoming exceptional.

Try to bring enthusiasm and passion everyday to whatever you do.

Losing Is Not Your Destiny

Nobody likes to lose.

Some people lose often and it’s unfortunate but it’s certainly not final.

If you’re collecting failures, you might even stop trying to improve as you’re convinced yourself that failure is your destiny now. But it’s not. It’s fucking not.

It’s just easier to reject any sign of hope than it is to change what’s holding you back.

Stop sabotaging your life and identify the things that trigger your bad habits so you can fix them.

You can accomplish anything you want in your life. You just need a positive attitude, continuous hard work and rigor to monitor your goals.

Only then, you’ll become exceptional.
