A Letter To Myself

I’m striving to improve myself. I attempt something new every day. I believe it is my responsibility, my job, and not a burden to always improve myself. I believe that if I put my mind to it, I can do anything. I’m not going down without a fight. Even though it hurts, I keep pushing. Even if it may seem that you aren’t making much progress, if you dig deep enough, you’ll discover that each day you are improving.

I want to be better.
Every day I get up and try something new.
I feel it is my purpose, my duty, and not a chore,
to make myself better than I was yesterday.
I feel I can do anything with the willpower to back it up.
I don’t give up. I push, even if it hurts.
Sometimes I feel like I’m not making progress, but if you look deep enough,
you will find that each day you get a little better than…
