A Poem
Nights that creep up to you,
Days that come up short,
Hopes that go too slow,
And hearts that beat too fast.
Life lasts far more than it should,
Transience has found itself in traffic,
Tyranny that has tormented the souls,
The autocratic animus of the rulers.
