Clouded Vision
A poem on opinionated arrogance
Every time you wake up
Before you put on your make up
Drink your coffee and shut up
Open your ears and give up
Your thoughts
Your opinions
Your means
Your believings
Open up to someone else’s singing
A new sensation
Full of interpretation
No need for celebrations
Just an intentional contemplation
Some things may hit home
Other may just be let go
But to never see
Is to live life ignorantly
In that case
You’ll just need a length
Rope and wood in a solid place
Until you can no longer feel your face
Then you arrogance will finally lose the race
