Painted Pictures Hung Upon the Wall

Inspiration for my art and poetry

I can never get enough of them. I love looking through old photos and albums — even if I can’t recall who everyone the images are now. But, I especially love art museums and galleries. I could stand before a great painting and feel myself lost in its depths. One of the things I miss most because of my disability, is being able to go to an art museum or gallery at will. All my life, those painted pictures carried my imagination into them.
